Our GATES OF LIGHT wins the Global Future Design Award 2020 in category Lighting Design. The 60 permanent renovated floodgates at the Afsluitdijk with reflective layers of micro prisms use the headlamps of the cars to create an energy-neutral landscape of light.
Daan Roosegaarde is judging this year Dezeen Awards joined by Norman Foster, Joyce Wang, Michael Anastassiades and Paola Antonelli.
