Through its futuristic design, CRYSTAL creates endless potential for play. Once visitors start moving crystals, they change from excited to bored, varying its brightness and frequency of light. CRYSTAL is the "Lego from Mars" as Daan Roosegaarde calls it. The crystals are open source which allows people to develop new shapes and colors.
CRYSTAL is a permanent public installation at Natlab Eindhoven and is open for public every night. Till July 2019 the artwork is in maintenance. A 5 meter circle CRYSTAL is also available for international exhibitions.
